i encountered a butterfly with personality yesterday who loved to have its picture taken
it allowed me to observe for almost a half hour so close with my phone
i could easily have reached out to touch it *
it seemed very aware of me, especially at the moment my intention to take a photo fired,
and when we were done pictures
it floated down the path a little ways and lighted on these same type of flowers
two or three times in step with me before rising up and disappearing into the woods
