and the ducks? ducks float... :}

On 10/29/12 during the hurricane Southern Regional Police arrested a 41 year old female from Hanover St. Glen Rock Borough. While intoxicated the female jumped into the Codorus Creek in the area of the Glen Rock Fire Department so that she could "save the wild ducks" that live there. The female feared that the twenty to thirty ducks would be hurt or killed because of Hurricane Sandy and the rising flood waters. The female required rescue by the fire department due to the fast turbulent water. This rescue placed several firefighters in danger due to her recklessness. The female was evaluated by EMS at the scene and arrested by police. She was transported to central booking for arraignment and charged with Risking Catastrophe, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Public Drunkenness, and Disorderly Conduct.
